VOTING
ON THE HAWKEYE NAMING CONTEST FINALISTS
WHO
CAN ENTER:
Voting in this contest is open to anyone over 13 years of age who
lives and/or works in the KMEG 14/KPTH 44 viewing area.
THE
ENTRY WITH THE MOST VOTES WILL WIN: 2
Cases of Ribs containing 10 sealed racks from Cookies Sauces and
Seasonings (ARV $400) and a $100 Gift Certificate to Palmer’s Candy
HOW
TO ENTER & WIN:
Voters will go to SiouxlandNews.com or Facebook.com/SiouxlandNews,
and click on the contest tab (or banner). There, they may vote for
their favorite. One vote per person per day. All information included
on the voting page must be filled out thoroughly and accurately.
Voting
will begin at 5:00am on Saturday, February 9th, 2013 and
end at 11:59pm on Sunday, February 17th. The winner will
be announced in Siouxland News at Ten on KMEG 14 on Monday, February
18th and then contacted via phone or e-mail the following
day. ONLY THE DESIGNATED PARTIES WHO HAVE SUBMITTED FINALIST
QUALIFYING NAMES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZING, AND NO VOTERS WILL RECEIVE
PRIZES JUST FOR VOTING.
NO
PURCHASE NECESSARY.
No cash substitutions or exchanges allowed. All taxes are the
responsibility of the winner. The winner will be notified via email
or phone and will be required to come to the studios at KMEG, CBS 14,
100 Gold Circle, Dakota Dunes, SD 57049, and present proper
identification, i.e. driver’s license or other valid photo
identification and sign a prize waiver (provided by KMEG) to remain
eligible as a finalist, or be valid as the final winner.
Identification which is counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or
otherwise altered will not be honored. By claiming a prize, a winner
consents to the use, without additional compensation, of his or her
name and/or likeness and/or voice, and/or submission of entry for
promotion and/or advertising purposes in connection with this
promotion. All federal, state, and local laws apply..
All
decisions of the KMEG, CBS 14 judges concerning any and all matters
with respect to this contest shall be final. KMEG, CBS 14 reserves
the right to alter the contest by placing announcements on the air,
and assumes no responsibility for internet miscommunication.
LIMITATION
OF LIABILITY. If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of
running as planned for any reason which KMEG/KPTH, in its sole
opinion, deems could corrupt or affect the administration, security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, KMEG/KPTH
reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend this promotion, in
whole or in part, fair and appropriate by KMEG/KPTH. IN NO EVENT WILL
KMEG/KPTH, PARTICIPATING PROMOTIONAL COMPANIES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE
PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR
ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS,
DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS
BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT,
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
