WHO CAN ENTER: The contest is open to anyone over 18 years of age who lives and/or works in the KMEG 14/KPTH 44 viewing area. Employees or ex-employees (and their families) of KPTH, FOX 44, KMEG, CBS 14, any television station in the Sioux City/Sioux Falls area, and their affiliates, subsidiaries or agents are not eligible.

WHAT YOU COULD WIN: A wedding prize pack including the opportunity to propose marriage in a live or pre-taped commercial announcement during the final NFL game of the 2012-13 Season February 9^th, 2013. In addition, the winner will receive a wedding prize pack including a 1.08 carat (with 14 carat white gold band) Terismo engagement and wedding ring set from Gunderson’s jewlers (ARV: $7500.) Other prizes include a wedding dress from Alan Evans Bridal (ARV: $1500), wedding invitations from Geosphere Design Studio (ARV: $1100), Catering by Chef Paul (ARV: $1000), limousine service from Royalty Limousine & D’s Night Out (ARV: $700), DJing service from Acoustix Entertainment (ARV:$899), a Dental Care Package from Wheelock, Bursick, and Giese (ARV is variable), wedding and reception venue from Hole N the Wall Lodge, (ARV TBD), and wedding videography from RVP Productions (ARV: $1000).

HOW TO ENTER & WIN: Entrants will fill out the electronic form in the Gunderson’s Super Proposal section of www.SiouxlandNews.com. In addition to thoroughly and correctly filling out all contact information, the entrant will also write an essay explaining why they should be chosen to win the prize. A committee comprised of either Siouxland News employees or Siouxland News employees and representatives from sponsors will determine a number of finalists based upon their discretion. A number of those finalists will be interviewed and a winner will be chosen by that committee. ALL DECISIONS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THIS COMMITTEE AND ARE FINAL.

Applications will be taken until 1/20/12 at 11:59pm CDT. Finalists will be contacted shortly thereafter by phone and/or e-mail, and the winner will be chosen and contacted no later than 2/3/13.

The winner will be notified via email or phone and will be required to come to the studios at KMEG, CBS 14, 100 Gold Circle, Dakota Dunes, SD 57049, and present proper identification, i.e. driver’s license or other valid photo identification and sign a prize waiver (provided by KMEG) to remain eligible as a finalist, or be valid as the final winner. Identification which is counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or otherwise altered will not be honored. By claiming a prize, a winner consents to the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice for promotion and/or advertising purposes in connection with this promotion. All federal, state, and local laws apply. ARRANGEMENTS FOR PRIZE PACKAGES MUST BE MADE BY THE WINNER WITH THE SPONSORS DIRECTLY AND INDIVIDUALLY (NOT THROUGH SIOUXLAND NEWS, KMEG 14, or KPTH FOX 44.) All decisions of the KMEG, CBS 14 judges concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. KMEG, CBS 14 reserves the right to alter the contest by placing announcements on the air, and assumes no responsibility for internet miscommunication.

If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason which KMEG/KPTH, in its sole opinion, deems could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, KMEG/KPTH reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend this promotion, in whole or in part, fair and appropriate by KMEG/KPTH. IN NO EVENT WILL KMEG/KPTH, PARTICIPATING PROMOTIONAL COMPANIES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
